Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia Seminar:
Truffle Pests, an international perspective.
The DAFWA seminar will focus on pests of truffles and with emphasis on the emergence of a new truffle pest to Australia the native truffle beetle Thalycrodes mixtum.
A beetle which appears to cause similar damage has been present in Europe for a number of years. Our Spanish guests will talk about the experience of that pest in Spain.
