regional and international producers and speakers to enable growers to follow advances in production systems, develop new contacts within the industry and engage directly with
researchers.

Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia Seminar:
Truffle Pests, an international perspective.

The DAFWA seminar will focus on pests of truffles and with emphasis on the emergence of a new truffle pest to Australia the native truffle beetle Thalycrodes mixtum.
A beetle which appears to cause similar damage has been present in Europe for a number of years. Our Spanish guests will talk about the experience of that pest in Spain.
